Before Quessenberry held any title on the production, he entered the Axanar art team's poster contest — his first formal submission to the art and production staff. The work demonstrated console-graphic literacy and an instinct for Federation-era presentation: the same eye that would later light bridge monitors and campaign pages. Production took notice. The Society records this contest as the entry point: a fan who arrived through craft, not through casting call.

Quessenberry was folded into the art department as a set design consultant and graphic-art contributor. Alongside Aaron Harvey and Alexander Richardson, he helped establish monitor and console graphics that read as Starfleet-authentic on camera. When production later divided concept art from graphic art, he remained on the graphic track — the division of labor that would define bridge authenticity for Prelude and beyond. The Society notes that his soundstage work and his website work share a single principle: the audience must believe the environment before the first line of dialogue.

With Prelude proving the dream viable and the feature film next, Quessenberry assumed webmaster responsibility for axanar.com. The role was operational: keep campaigns online, keep donor flows intact, keep community updates accurate under load. A senior full-stack developer with deep e-commerce and migration experience, he treated the site as infrastructure — the bridge between production and thirty thousand backers who could not physically reach Ares Studios.

Beyond public-facing pages, Quessenberry ran a small-scale logistics operation for the fan community: coordinating perk fulfillment data, donor record hygiene, shipping workflows, and the unglamorous machinery that keeps a crowdfunded epic from losing touch with its backers. Kickstarter and Indiegogo pledges are only promises until someone routes addresses, surveys, and warehouse queues. The Society classifies this work as fleet support — not featured in trailers, but essential to trust. Quessenberry has described it as custody of the donor relationship at scale.

Quessenberry led the Indiegogo campaign "Help Soval Save The Federation," built around Ambassador Soval and actor Gary Graham — who had portrayed Soval on Star Trek: Enterprise and would reprise the role for Axanar. The Vulcan Scene had demonstrated production quality; the campaign asked donors to fund the next chapter of the Four Years War through a character who embodied diplomacy's failure. Quessenberry managed perk structure, page narrative, and Graham's participation on the public record. The campaign's visibility became part of the wider industry conversation. In December 2015, CBS and Paramount filed suit against Axanar Productions.

When the lawsuit landed, axanar.com shifted from campaign launcher to crisis communications hub. Quessenberry maintained uptime, accuracy, and donor clarity while counsel worked. The Society records that engineering duty, in that period, meant answering at any hour whether the dream was still alive — a question thirty-four thousand relationships asked in silence.

The settlement narrowed Axanar's scope: two fifteen-minute episodes in place of a feature, under new studio guidelines. Quessenberry retooled site messaging, donor expectations, and internal systems built for a different end state. The bridge set would move; Georgia would follow California; principal photography would eventually wrap. Through each phase, axanar.com remained his station.

Quessenberry rebuilt the Axanar donor platform and integrated legacy records from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and prior portals into operable admin workflows — fulfillment queues, exports, audit trails. The Society notes that boring software, done correctly, is how productions honor early believers when legal and logistical headwinds arrive together.

WordPress could no longer carry the project's weight. Quessenberry architected the decoupled rebuild: Drupal as content and commerce authority, Next.js as the public face. Wiki archive, video chronicle, donor portal, VIP memberships, shop integration, transcript pipeline, and MAHS narrative voice — all unified under GraphQL and Fly.io deployment. The site is no longer a brochure; it is fleet infrastructure for premiere and the decade ahead.

The Society now receives ongoing supplemental transmissions from Quessenberry under the moniker Captain Q'Berry. In the documentary frame, Q'Berry serves as curator aboard USS Enyo (NCC-1666) — a replica Ares-class vessel of the era, berthed among the decommissioned fleet of ambassador hulls. The record places his service under Garth before and during the Four Years War; his present assignment is attaché to the Klingon-Federation War History Envoy of Memory Alpha, from which he relays dispatches on site operations, fan logistics, and the transparent cost of keeping axanar.com aloft. His sole request of the community: support for ongoing hosting and tooling, displayed openly on this record with a fill meter and scannable contribution path.
