Engineer's Log #5 — Unification on Fly.io
axanar-drupal, axanar-nextjs, and Postgres on Fly — the production topology that replaces four vendors.

axanar-drupal + axanar-nextjs + Postgres + 50 GB volume — Cloudflare DNS, YouTube embeds, Tigris cold archive.

May–June 2026 is the unification phase: donor merge complete, commerce wired, VIP memberships live, wiki and video chronicle indexed, and executive admin UX streamlined for Alec's team.

Production topology on Fly.io:

  • axanar-drupal — CMS, donor CRM, Commerce + PayPal, fulfillment views, messages API, Gmail sync, YouTube cron, admin AI hooks
  • axanar-nextjs — public site + /portal + dashboard SSO + ISR revalidation webhooks
  • axanar-db — Postgres with 15K+ donor profiles and pledge history
  • 50 GB Fly volume — hot media; cold WordPress archive to object storage

Cloudflare fronts DNS (optional proxy). Video stays on YouTube embeds — zero video hosting bill. Images migrate off GoDaddy disk into Fly + Tigris archive.

Staging URLs today: axanar-nextjs.fly.dev and axanar-drupal.fly.dev. Cutover points axanar.com DNS here when Alec is ready.
