Combat Record
Under Captain Sonya Alexander, the Ajax earned a formidable record during the Four Years War. Alexander became one of Starfleet's highest-scoring captains — second only to Garth of Izar in Klingon vessels destroyed.
At Signis III, Alexander's feint to starboard created the opening Garth exploited — a maneuver cited in Prelude as pivotal to the Ares-class proving itself in combat.
Design Notes
As an Ares-class sister to the prototype Ares and Hercules, the Ajax shares the same aggressive combat-focused hull lines and weapons fit developed under the Ramirez shipbuilding program.
