Dana Wagner

Wagner joined the production as a volunteer in August 2017. He and his wife arrived for a volunteer day and helped reassemble the shell of the USS Ares bridge into one piece after its cross-country move.

When the bridge arrived in Lawrenceville in May 2017 it was bare wood — structure only, without lighting, panels, televisions, computer monitors, or touch panels on the consoles.

Peters told subscribers Wagner was shooting the December 2018 Full Axanar Report while continuing bridge work — assembling the transmissions that documented set progress.

James Simpson introduced Raspberry Pi nodes; Wagner placed every Pi on the Wi-Fi network and built remote access so bridge animations could be changed on demand.

In Axanar Confidential #9, Wagner appeared as USS Ares bridge construction guru and art director with a studio update for Patreon supporters.

Wagner installed LEDs under the deck, bulkhead lighting, and a large viewscreen. Peters told the December 2022 update the bridge was almost finished being totally restored by Wagner.

Peters' May 2022 update listed Dale Simpson and Dana Wagner, who takes care of this amazing bridge, among the Lawrenceville team keeping production moving.

On Axanar Podcast #70, Peters credited Wagner — who manages the bridge at Ares Studios — with helping raise shelving during his home office move.
