What can I say? My brother Michael rode with me all the way to Atlanta overnight on a 24-hour red-eye run to add security and extra set grips to help put this one together. This and a few other yet-to-be-seen scenes were part of the conversation and production when I was there. All I can say is that we're both in the credits somewhere. ;) Nearly froze to death on the way, but it seems it was all for a good result in the end! I have been to three shoots in the Atlanta metro area and each time was better than the last. I have been grateful to have met David Gerrold, Gary Graham, and many more of the folks that I love and adore behind the scenes. Dana, Alec, Crysstal, Dale, Geoff, and Mark all welcomed me with open arms and love for their crafts. Thanks to all for putting this together. Meh. After all this time, it just ended up being more talking heads footage that felt like it could’ve been left over from the first installment’s cutting room floor.

Obviously wonderful work. I'm genuinely excited for the final chapter...however long that will take to finally come out. I guess I was just expecting something different at this point. More battle stuff, not so much "talking heads" as others seem to be putting it. Don't get me wrong, I love it. I guess I'm just disappointed that without getting to see a feature length film or more than just this and another 15-20 minute mini-episode vs several, it's almost MORE painful knowing exactly what we're missing! If the studio is just going to violate court agreements, then f*ck them and don't follow them yourself! Imagine doing everything as required to get this out and they STILL try to shut it down? The court should say, "Okay then. They can make the film the way they wanted in the first place." My question is, with the deaths of those key main cast members and the way they ended their parts in this episode how will that be handled? I'm sure some of this has been filmed for quite awhile now, but then final episode? And exactly when IS the final episode supposed to come out? Thanks!

I started to watch strange new worlds yesterday, i lasted 5 mins in before i got bored and turned it off,just watched prelude and axanar gathering storm ,i was glued to both from start to finish,what does that say.....

Wow. Blown away. The music, the effects, the ACTING. Just finished seeing it so I'm still dazzled by it! Pat Tallman nails it AGAIN, even in these little talking-head scenes. I guess I shouldn't mention the BEST surprise, but I remain tickled to death to see...the surprise! Logical and era-appropriate, though! I know y'all have gone through Hell to make this and you had grander plans, but this is the best Star Trek I've seen in YEARS! You can feel the love of Trek throughout, and better respect of canon than ANY previous effort! Can't wait for the finale, and who knows, maybe something else afterwards? I'd rather this crew develop the next chapter of Star Trek than anyone else on Earth! Bravo!!!
